Connecting Educators Across Region 1Spanning five counties, Region 1 of the Idaho Council of Teachers of Mathematics supports educators and serves students in the following counties: Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, and Shoshone. Region 1 is proud to serve mathematics educators throughout the northern panhandle. Because our region covers a large geographic area, we have offered meet-up opportunities in both Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene to make participation as accessible as possible. Whether you are a classroom teacher, instructional coach, administrator or mathematics leader, we welcome you to join us as we build connections, share ideas, and support one another in advancing mathematics education across our region. Meet the RepsRegional representatives coordinate and organize ICTM activities, such as meet-ups and conferences, within their regions. Amy Skaugstad (Lake Pend Oreille SD) and Sumer Comfort (Couer d'Alene Public Schools) are here to support Region 1 board members. Learn more about the Region 1 reps
