How To Get Involved
Students at Idaho State University can get involved by contacting any of our current officers or the advisor. You don’t have to be a mathematics-focused major to join, anyone integrated in education or STEM is welcome! The ISU-MEA hosts monthly meetings where preservice teachers engage in student-led workshops and expert presentations covering topics like technology integration and lesson planning. We also provide service and support to local elementary schools, giving members great hands-on experience. We invite you to join us, share your ideas, and connect with fellow future educators.
Affiliate HighlightsWe support local elementary schools with their family STEM nights - check out the fun at this December STEM night! ISU-MEA is passionate about giving back and supporting our local community. Our members are always eager to volunteer and assist with local mathematics and STEM-related initiatives. If volunteers are needed for a STEM event, we would be happy to help. To coordinate volunteer support for your school or organization, please contact the advisor. |
